Last few minutes of the evening sun illuminating the autumn leaves.
Some local brightness and contrast adjustment with dodging and burning brought the original slightly dull image to life. Shooting against the sun will almost always produce an underexposed foreground if careful metering is not done. And even with the careful metering, some adjustment to lighten up the areas of interest is essential.
