EXIF

NIKON D80 | Focal Length 0 mm |  Exposure f 0, 1/100 sec

Notes

  • An inexpensive solution to your macro photography needs is a reversing ring. This photo has been captured using the Nikon 50mm, f1.8 lens reverse mounted using the BR-2A reversing ring.

    Nikon BR-2A

Also, Using a reversing ring means no automatic camera controls like aperture, shutterspeed and autofocus are available (that's why they are not showing in the EXIF info above :-) ). Everything has to be set up manually and a little trial and error will finally get you the perfect shot.
Usage of tripod or any other stable support is absolutely necessary while taking the photo because, as with any micro photography, camera shake is highly amplified at such a short distance.

  • Super macro!

  • The angle is beautiful. Because of the angle, the layering of the blurness has been created. The blurring is because, the focus is on the front anthers and the stamens; the behind ones are blurred gradually.
These kind of photos are extremely soothing for mind. Because, the sight of these photos touches all the edges of mind.
    I am thoroughly impressed.
